Of Natural Resources <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80220 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jencsok: <br /> <br />I am pleased to enclose for your information the 1995 salinity operations report under the <br />agreement with Mexico entitled "Permanent and Definitive Solution to the International Problem <br />of the Salinity of the Colorado River", incorporated in Minute No. 242 of the International <br />Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico, dated August 30, 1973. The report <br />also describes developments relating to other provisions of Minute No. 242. <br /> <br />In 1995, the operations were in compliance with the agreement. The differential for the calendar <br />year 1995 between (1) the average salinity of the Colorado River waters arriving at Imperial <br />Dam and (2) the average salinity of the Colorado River waters delivered upstream of Morelos <br />Dam was 82 ppm (U.S. count), 101 ppm (Mexican count). <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />John M.
