<br />sec. 23, T. 47 N., R. 10 E., 0.4 mile downstre~~ from McClure Dam, and 5.3 miles east of
<br />Santa Fe. Datum of gage is 7,718 ft above mean sea level, datum of 1929. Prior to Nov. 4, 1930
<br />at site 1.5 miles downstream, and Apr. 11, 1931 to Sept. 1947 at site 0.3 mile upstream.

<br />Drainaqe area.--18.2 sq mi.
<br />Averaqe discharge.--67 years (1913-79, 7.92 ft3js (5,740 acre-ft per year).
<br />Extremes.--1813-79: Maximum discharge, 1,500 ft3/s Aug. 14, 1921; minimum daily, 0.1 ft3/s

<br />Sandoval County, in Pueblo de Cochiti Grant, on right bank 320 feet upstream from bridge on State
<br />Highway 22, 700 feet downstream from Cochiti Dam, and 1.4 miles northeast of Cochiti Pueblo.

<br />Drainaqe area.--14,900 sq IIli, approximately (includes 2,940 sq mi in closed basin in San Luis Valley,
<br />Colo.) .
<br />Averaqe discharqe.--9 years (1971-79) 1,110 ft3/s (804,200 acre-ft per year).
<br />Extremes.--1971-79: Maximum discharge, 10.300 ft3/s July 26, 1971, at site 2.4 miles downstream and
<br />prior to closure of Cochiti Dam; minimum discharge, 0.51 ft3/s Aug. 3-5. 1977.
