<br />00 18 <br />,-~ <br />Cij <br /> <br />RIO GRANDE COMPACT COMMISSION REPORT <br /> <br />c:..= <br />( :; <br /> <br />Be it Further Resolved: <br /> <br />1"-: <br /> <br />That the gaging stations at San Acacia and San Marcial <br />be, and the same are hereby abandoned for Compact purposes. <br /> <br />Be it Further Resolved: <br /> <br />That this Resolution has been passed unanimously and <br />shall be effective January 1, 1949, if within 120 days from <br />this date the Commissioner for each State shall have <br />received from the Attorney General of the State represented <br />by him, an opinion approving this Resolution, and shall <br />have so advised the Chairman of the Commission, otherwise, <br />to be of no force and effect. <br /> <br />(Note: The following paragraph appears in the Minutes <br />of the Annual Meeting of the Commission held at Denver, <br />Colorado, February 14-16, 1949: <br /> <br />"The Chairman announced that he had received, pursuant <br />to the Resolution adopted by the Commission at the Ninth <br />Annual Meeting on February 24, 1948, opinions from the <br />Attorneys General of Colorado, New Mexico and Texas that <br />the substitution of stations and measurements of deliveries <br />by New Mexico set forth in said resolution was within the <br />powers of the Commission"). <br />
