The
report also describes developments relating to other provisions of Minute No.
242.

The report states that the operations were in compliance with the agreement.
The differential for the calendar year 1987 between (1) the average salinity
of the waters delivered upstream of More10s Dam and (2) the average salinity
of the Colorado River waters arriving at Imperial Dam was 46 ppm (U.S. count),
51 ppm (Mexican count).

In 1987, the salinity differential was again low because of the 2,949,000
acre-feet of excess waters in the Colorado River at the Northerly
International Boundary over and above the 1,700,000 acre-feet scheduled.

Sincerely,

;v..~ ~A

Commissioner ~

Enclosure:
As Stated

li ,-.;.
