<br />and we plan to come up with a rev~s~on which we'll talk over with the <br />appropriate Committees in Congress (Appropriations and Interior), the <br />Department, the states and the Westwide advisory committee so we'll <br />know where we are going to go by Nov. 1." He said he planned to meet <br />with the Pacific Northwest River Basin Commission on Sept. 8 and the <br />Western States Water Council on Sept. 10 to discuss the revision with <br />them. The House Appropriations Committee directed the Water Resources <br />Council and its constituent River Basin commissions, where applicable, <br />to "actively participate and assist in the pliJilning and coordination <br />of the... study." <br /> <br />Fairchild said the Bureau planned to do its planned $15 million <br />geothermal resource study separate and apart from the Westwide study <br />in any event.
