<br />,~,,'.-"'...,.~'C-~<, <br /> <br />.....,1 <br />CO <br />(.'J <br /> <br />..:~ <br /> <br />1...,.:.' <br />l_..~i <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />The Secretary shall present to eftCh participating; state through <br />the Commissioner of such State, a certified statement of one-third of <br />the oost 01 his salary, traveling expense, the expense incident to the <br />maintar~ce of the offices of the Commission, end such Commissioner <br />shall arrange for the prompt payment thereof by the appropriate agency <br />of his stete. <br /> <br />The Commissioner of each state shall report at the annual meeting <br />each year Ue amount of money expended during the year by the state <br />which he represents, as well as the pp~tion thereof contributed by all <br />cooperating federal agencies, snd the Commission shall arange for such <br />proper reimbursement in oash or credits between stetes as may be nec- <br />essary to equalize the contributions made by each state in the equip- <br />ment, maintenance end operation of all gaging 6t~tions authorized by <br />the Commission an~ established under the terms of the Compact. <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of each Commissioner to endeavor to secure <br />from tte Legislature of his stste an approprietion of suffioient funds <br />with which to lIIllet the obligetions of his state, as provided by the <br />compact. <br /> <br />MEETING OF Caw~ISSION <br /> <br />The Commission shall meet in February of eaoh year for the con- <br />sideration and adoption of the annual report for the calendar year <br />preceeding, and for the transaction of any other business consistent <br />with its authority, The annual meeting in ID40 shall be held at <br />Monte Vista, Colorado, and thereafter rotate alphabetically accord- <br />ing to the states, the place in each state to be designated by the <br />Commissioner from that state. Other meetings as may be deemed nec- <br />essary shall be held at any time and plaoe set by mutual agreement, <br />for the consideration of data collected and for the transaotion of <br />any business consistent with its authority, <br /> <br />No action of the Commission shall be effeotive until 8,pproved <br />by the Commissioner from each of the three signatcry States, <br /> <br />(Signed) M.
