<br />.w <br /> <br />,.'," <br /> <br />,> <br /> <br />(,',} <br />f.'- <br />N <br />,-\ <br /> <br />,-"'; <br />.....~. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPrED BY RIO GRANDE Ccr.tPACT <br />ccmnsnON AT TIlE ANNUAL MEETING HELD AT <br />EL PASO, TEXAS, FEBRUARY 22-24,1948, <br />CHANGING GAGING STATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS <br />OF DELIVERIES BY NEW MEXICO <br /> <br />R!~Q!!1!Il.Q!! <br /> <br />Whereas, at the Annual Meeting of the Rio Grande Compact <br />Commission in the year 1945, the question was raised as to <br />whether or not a schedule for delivery of water by New Mexico <br />during the entire year could be worked out, and <br /> <br />Whereas, at said meeting the question was referred to the <br />Engineering Advisers for their study, recommendations and report, <br />and <br /> <br />C.') <br /> <br />Whereas, said Engineering Advisors have'met, studied the <br />pt'oblems and under date of February 24, 1947, did submit their <br />Report, which said Report contains the findings of said Engin- <br />eering Advisors and their recommendations, and <br /> <br />Whereas, The Compaot Commission has examined said Report <br />and finds that the matters end things therein found and rec~ <br />mended are proper and within the terms of the Rio Grande C()IIloo <br />pact, and <br /> <br />Whereas, the Commissioll has considered' said Engineering <br />Advisers' Report and ell available evidenoe, inforlIBtion and <br />material and is fullyadvisedl <br /> <br />Now, Therefore, Be it Resolvedl <br /> <br />The Commission finds as followSI <br /> <br />(a) That because of change of physioal conditionS, reliable <br />records of the amount of water passing San Marcial are <br />no longer obtainable at the stream gaging station at <br />San Marcial and that the same should be abandoned for <br />Compact purposes. <br /> <br />(b) That the need for ooncurrent records at San Marcial <br />and San Acaoia no longer exists and that the gaging <br />station at San Acacia should be abandoned far Compact <br />purposes. <br /> <br />.;" <br /> <br />" <br />....:. <br /> <br />15 <br />
