<br />The Endangered Species
<br />Committee is made up of the sec-
<br />retaries of Agriculture. Army,
<br />Interior, chairman of the Coun-
<br />cil of Economic Advisors, and
<br />head. of the National Oceanic
<br />and Atmospheric Administra-
<br />tion, and the Environmental Pro-
<br />tection Agency. Also one rep-
<br />resentative from Colorado, New
<br />Mexico and Utah would be ap-
<br />pointed by President Bush.
<br />Lujan called it the "God Com-
<br />mittee'" because only God can
<br />override the Endangered Spe.-
<br />cies Act, he said.
