Lyon Service Area

Enclosed please find the above referenced draft work products from Gronning
Engineering Company (GEe), In. accord ~th my earlier memo, dated January 8,
1993, you are invited to review and comment on the draft Task Reports, Those
receiving this memo are the only persons who will receive the drafts at this time,
Particular emphasis should be given to consistency with state policies and legal
positions, as well as the potential political sensitivity of the subject matter, You do
not have to provide proof reading services, we will do that at the staff level.

As stated in the January 8, 1993, memo, we understand that your individual
work schedules may not allow each of you to give these drafts an extensive review,
Whatever advice and comments you can provide will be greatly appreciated, You may
comment in any manner that expedites your review, (mark-up of draft, faxed notes,
phone calls to me, etc,), I will assemble all comments received by February 26, 1993,
and forward them to GEC on the March 1. They will then begin revising the Task
Reports for inclusion as chapters in the Phase I Report which you will see at the end
of March,

Thanks again for your help and please feel free to suggest anything that I can
do to facilitate your review.

SM/gI
Enclosures
cc: John Clark, GEC

g10444.m

z.! \~
