The depletion charge is <br />based on the projects average annual <br />depletion. In FY 95. the depletion <br />charge is $12. 71/acre-foot. The <br />depletion charge is adjusted annually tor <br />inflation. Depletion charges are paid to <br />the National Fish and Wildlife <br />Foundation, it goes into an interest <br />bearing account dedicated to supporting <br />recovery actions for the endangered <br />Colorado River fishes.
