The plant is to have an initial cnpacity of <br />180,000 kw, with the possibility of an additional inst.'\llation of <br />-15.000 kw. The reservoir created will hilve a capacity of about <br />1.500,00(1 acre.ft'et. The cost of the project is e!':timated to be <br />$-12,000,000 and it is planned to complete it ill 191;). <br />This project has heen under consideration for many years as a <br />supplement to the Boulrler Canyon Project. It will function as a <br />reregulating reservoir. thus increasing the firm power output of <br />Boulde,' Dam, and will develop an :\dditional power hc:\d of 100 to <br />125 feet. <br />As of 191;;, the estimated ener~y annually available from Davis <br />power plant is flfjO,OOO,OoO kwhr of firm. and :!15,OOO,OflO kwhI' of <br />secondaryenerllY, These qwmtities are expech.-d to diminish year <br />by year, so that by Hl8:) the energy :\vaiJable will be reduced to <br /> <br />
