There have been given away locally and sent to all <br />parts of the United States and to several foreign countries 1I10re <br />than 6,000 copies. <br />A four-color lithograph map folder was prepared in August <br />1939 for general public distribution. The original order was for <br />25,000, but public demand for the maps has required three reprints, <br />making a totai of 150,000. <br />By using engravings originally prepared for the Aqueduct News, <br />the Los Angeles board of education has prepared for use in its <br />visual education program 500 copies of a series of three illustrated <br />booklets describing the need for the construction and use of the <br />aqueduct. <br />
