The principal tributaries <br />in addition to the main Eagle River are Homestake Creek, <br />Cross Creek, Gore Creek, Brush Creek and Gypsun; Creek. <br />Ninety-four percent of the watershed area is above an el- <br />evation of 7,000 feet >;Iith a nUIl;ber of peaks extending to <br />elevat~cns in excess of 14,000 feet. <br />The subbasin watershed area cOIl,prises 9.6% of the <br />river basin above the Colorado-Utah State line and produced <br />15 .lj~ of the histori c runoff of the basin. Ninety-eight <br />percent of the subbasin is lecated in Eagle County and 2% <br />in Fitkin County. <br />Watershed Runoff <br /> <br />The average annual historic discharge of the Eagle <br />River to the Co 1, rado River at Dotsero for the 18 year study <br />period:is 429,300 acre feet.
