<br />I <br />I 0 <br /> i~ <br />I w <br />...... <br />w <br /> ~ <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />NIDDLE PARK SUBBASIN <br /> <br />Location and Description <br />The KiddIe Park Subbasin includes the watershed of <br />the Colorado River from Glenwood Springs tc the Continental <br />Divide with the exception of the drainage basin uf Eagle <br /> <br />River above Dotsero. The principal tributary streaRS are the <br /> <br />main river above Granby, \rillow Creek, Fraser River, ~lilliani <br /> <br />Fork River and Blue River. Over 97% of the watershed area is <br /> <br />above an elevation of 7000 feet with several watershed peaks <br />extending to elevations in excess of 14,000 feet. <br /> <br />The subbasin includes all or parts of the 1'i ve ,18S- <br /> <br />tern C~'lcradc: Counties of Grand, Sumrdt, Eagle, Routt and Gar- <br />field. The subbasin \laterslled area comprises 35.3% of the <br />river basin and produced 44.3% of the historic runoff. <br />\'la tershed Runoff <br /> <br />The average annual historic runoff of the subbasin <br />at Glenwood Springs f"r the 18 year study period of 1943-1960 <br />was 1,263,500 acre feet.
