Local economies associated with water use below Navajo Dam <br />could be adversely affected under the 250/5000 Alternative. Over the longer <br />term, the 250/5000 alternative would benefit water development and in particular <br />agriculture and its support industries on the Navajo Nation and local communities. <br /> <br />Impact Indicators <br /> <br />Impacts were identified as a result of any changes in: <br /> <br />o Direct, indirect, and induced gross sales revenues of a county <br />o The number of jobs within a county <br />o Total county tourism/recreation receipts <br />o Total county agricultural crop sales <br />o The income and number of employees of local businesses dependent on river <br />flows <br /> <br />Draft - Not fir Public Review - January 25, 2002 <br /> <br />01074 <br />
