The water quality data for the period January 1941 <br />through December 1963 were adjusted by correlation with the samples <br />taken by The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California at <br />the Lake Havasue Intake Pumping Plant. <br />Colorado River at Imperial Dam. Arizona-California. The stream- <br />flow data for this station were obtained from a combination of several <br /> <br />stations. Data from January 1941 through September 1942 are from <br />the Colorado River near Picacho, California, gaging station; data <br />from October 1942 through September 1960 are based on the combined <br />discharges at gaging stations on the Colorado River at Yuma, All- <br />American Canal near Imperial Dam, Gila Gravity Main Canal at Imperial <br />Dam, Yuma Main C~nal at Laguna Dam, and North Gila Valley Canal at <br />Laguna Dam less the Gila River near Dome, Arizona. Data after <br />September 1960 are based on the combined daily discharge of the Colo- <br />rado River below Imperial Dam, the All-American Canal near Imperial <br />Dam, and the Gila Gravity Main Canal at Imperial Dam. <br />Water quality data from 1943 through October 1970 were obtained <br />from Geological Survey records based on data for the Yuma Main Canal <br />below the Colorado River Siphon. Water quality data following Octo- <br />ber 1970 were obtained from Geological Survey records taken at <br />Imperial Dam. <br /> <br />Present and Historical Salinity Levels and Salt Loads <br /> <br />Historical annual streamflow and quality of water data for <br /> <br />the Colorado River near Cisco, Utah; the Green River near Green <br /> <br />River, Utah; the San Rafael River near Green River, Utah; the San <br /> <br />Juan River near Bluff, Utah; and the Colorado River at Lees Ferry. <br /> <br />. : <br /> <br />-22- <br />
