Features of land- <br />form vegetative patterns, water forms and rock <br />formations are unusual or outstanding. Distinctive <br />characteristics are: <br /> <br />a) Landform - Over 60 percent slopes which are <br />dissected, uneven, sharp exposed ridges or <br />large dominant features. <br /> <br />b) Rock Form - Features stand out on landform. <br /> <br />Unusual or outstanding, avalanche chutes, <br />talus slopes, outcrops, etc., in size, shape <br />and location. <br /> <br />c) Vegetation - High degree of patterns in vege- <br />tation. <br /> <br />Large old-growth timber. Unusual or outstanding <br />diversity in plant species. <br /> <br />d) Water Forms, Lakes - 50 acres or larger or <br />those smaller are otherwise distinctive or <br />Wlusual. <br /> <br />e) Water Forms, Streams - Drainage with numerous <br />or unusual changing flow characteristics, falls, <br />rapids, pools and meanders or large volume. <br /> <br />1513 <br />
