These are organizations set up by <br /> <br /> <br />Colorado Statute for the purpose of being local repayment entities for <br /> <br />\'Iater projects authorized by Congress as well as' promoting water <br /> <br /> <br />development and planning ~Iithin their respective areas. <br /> <br /> <br />The North L-Jest Colorado Hatel" Counci 1 represents an area which <br /> <br />includes primarily the counties of Routt, J~offat and Rio Blanco \~hich <br /> <br />at"e drained by the Hhite, Little Snake, Yar;lpa and Green Riyer drainages <br /> <br />all being tributary to the Colorado Riyer Systel!l.
