The advance copy of the Draft Environmental Statement for the <br />proposed Bostwick and Lytle Laterals for Bostwick Park Project was for- <br />warded to Commissioner o~ February 9, 1973. It has not been released <br />for distribution to CEQ or other agencies. <br /> <br />2. Operation of the laterals will result in conversion of 784 acres ' <br />of sagebrush and grass-covered dryland from livestock range and wildlife <br />habitat to irrigated cropland. This does not present a problem with live- <br />stock or wildlife interests in the area. <br /> <br />3. It is estimated that. supplemental and new irrigation of lands <br />would increase the total dissolved solids in the Colorado River below <br />Hoover Dam by less than 0.5 Ing./l. <br /> <br />4 <br />
