Carbon Monoxide (CO)

o Reduce CO from all major stationary sources through 06/30/85 in nonattalnment areas.

o J~mlt increases of cO emissions from minor stationary sources through 06/30/85 in nonattalnment areas.

o Reduce CO emissions from all new wood stoves by an average of 5% per year, and all new fireplaces by an average of 5% per year after July
1. 1987 through the year 2000.

o Reduce CO emissions on episodic days during the 1985-86 winter heating sesson by 10%.

a Reduce CO emissions from open burning to zero in nonattalnment areas between 11/15/84 and 01/15/84 by prohibiting open-burning.

o Maintain CO emission levels by limiting open burning at 600 permits per year, In nonattainment areas through 06/30/85.

o Reduce eo from vehicle use by 200 tons/day by 1987 in nonattainment areas.

o Reduce CO from vehicle emission characteristics by 300 tons/day by 1987 in nonattainment areas.

2. Ozone (03)

o Limit increases of emissions of oxides of nitrogen (HOx) from major stationary sources to (estimate N/A) tons per year through 06/30/85
in nonattainment areas.

o Reduce volatile organic compound (VOe) emissions from all major hydrocarbon (He) sources through 06/30/85 in nonattainment areas.

o Limit increases of VOC emissions from minor sources through 06/30/85 in nonattalnment areas.

o Reduce hydrocarbon (lie) from vehicle emission characteristics by (estimate (N/A) tons /day in nonattalnment areas by 1987.

o Reduce hydrocarbon from vehicle use by (estimate N/A) tODs/day in nonattalnment areas by 1987.

3. Sulfur Dioxide (S02) Bnd Nitrogen Dioxide (N02)

o Maintain emissions of S02 at (estimate H/A) tons per year and H02 at (estimate NIA) tons per year through 06/30/85.

o Reduce NOx from vehicle use by (estimate N/A) tons per day by 1987.

-45-
