About IS mg/L of the reduction would be <br />attributable to a 140,500-too reduction in the salt <br />load and 0.2 mg/L would be attrihutable to reduced <br />depIctions. Atten- <br />dl:mce and particip.:ltion at public. meetings and <br />local press coverage has been excellent. <br /> <br />The cooperative agreem~nt bet....een the Bureau of <br />Reclamation and the Uncompahgre Valley Water Users <br />Association, for a water conservation and manage- <br />ment program, was completed in September 1981. The <br />water users association has assumed the. responsi- <br />bility for a continued program and Reclamation ....ill <br />continue to supply technical support for the pro- <br />gram. <br />
