The PRMP is a refinement of the Preferred Alternative and <br />accompanying environmental consequences in the Draft Gunnison <br />Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact statement (DRMP) I <br />with consideration given to public comments, corrections, and <br />rewording for clarification. Included as Appendix I is the wild <br />and Scenic River study 'Analysis For The Lake Fork of The Gunnison <br />River and Other Streams in The Planning Area. This retitled <br />Appendix is an update of Appendix I of the DRMP. The PRMP is <br />published in an abbreviated form and is designed to be used in <br />conjunction with the DRMP that was published in March, 1991. <br /> <br />At the end of the 30-day protest period, and after the Governor's <br />consistency review, the PRMP, excluding any portion under protest, <br />shall become final. Approval shall be withheld on any portion of <br />the PRMP under protest until final action has been completed on <br />such protest. The Record of Decision and the Approved Resource <br />Management Plan will then be prepared. <br /> <br />We appreciate the time and effort you have given during your <br />involvement in this process.
