Only 710 of these farms were located within the group project at <br />l:ichita Falls. Inasmuch as individual developments 2.re considered to be <br />~rojects, this area contains 2,951 projects - one group and 2,950 individ- <br />ual projects. <br /> <br />Hith this \llD.ny :)rojects involved, individual treatment is <br />obviously not within the scope of thio report and some groupinG of projects <br />is required. <br /> <br />Although the conditions affectinz irriGation development differ <br />sharply, there are fairly definite areas of these basins in which. condi- <br />tions tend to bo similar. These areas arc delineated in FiDUTe 1, and <br />the individual developments therein are treated collectively. <br /> <br />For discussion pllrpOSOS, the 21951 projocts have beon erouped <br />first by priority of stv.cl~' as set up by the State Al1R committee; seconcil;'l, <br />b~' major draim:;e basin; and, third, by subdivisions or areas of signi- <br />ficance ,lithin the broader claosificutions. <br /> <br />In the discussion to 1'0110\, the combination of conditions le.:lding <br />to subdivision, or conditione which muke subdivision desirable, is set <br />forth at ap?roprinte places in the te;:t.
