S. Bureau of Reclamation <br />is nearing completion. From the work to date, it appears irri- <br />gation may well be expanded by 16,900 acres of new land. Also, <br />it is believed that at such time as the anticipated shale oil <br />development is ffiade, an area of about 4,500 acres of the land <br />presently irrigated will be required for subdivision and other <br />use associated with basin industry. This would result in a <br />net increase in irrigated land of 12,400 acres. Water will <br />also be provided 4,000 acres of irrigated land in need of <br />additional water for full crop production.
