Mr. Schroeder stated that he r0presented the Fort Lyon Canal Com- pany, I,.hich cOC1pany ,;as of the 00inion that it was being injured by the operation of John Martin Reservoir. Mr. Schroeder stated that the company had two .main c~ncerns: (1) the release rates into accounts, and (2) the date at wh ich the releases start into the,accounts. Mr. McDonald stated that Mr. Schroeder's comments would be nuly noted and that e'Jery effort would be made to achieve a resolution of this ~atter. The next item on the agelcr]a vias Pueblo Reservoir. ~lr. Cooley called on Mr. McDonald, .,,110 explained that Kansas had provided a proposed resolution concerning Pueblo Reservoir to the Colorado deleqation earlier in the day. This proposed resolution had been discussed by the sta'cpc; and modified during the lunch recess. with the leave of Mr. Bentrup, Mr. McDonald read the modified resolution for the aU0ience's benefit, noting that Colo- rado ann Kansas were not yet reany to discuss the resolution. Thereupon, Mr. McDonald request~d that the Chairman recess the meeting, which Mr. Cooley did at 7:25 p.m. . The meetinq was called b3Ck to order at 2:55 o.m. by M~. Cooley. Mr. McDonald then recited and moved the adoption of a resolution concerning Pueblo Dam and Reservoir (the resolution, as orally presented, was typed aElcer the meeting and appears as ,'1ttachment H). clr. Gibson se'c,:,!:,jod the mot ion. There bein" no discussion, the motion was passed on the affirmative vote of both states. [Note: The resolution, when rwluced to typewritten fom after the meeting, was sent to Mr. Cooley for execution (see Attachment I). Kansas subsequently objected to the resolution (see Attach- ment J). Colorado responded that it reqarded the resolution as being in full force and effect (s~e Attachment K).
