<br />--- <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Project <br />Grand Valley Unit <br /> <br />The area selected for Stage One construction lies entirely within <br />\ <br />one drainage basin, drained by Reed Wash, and is bound on the north <br /> <br />by the Government Highline Canal and on the south by the Kiefer Extension. <br /> <br />Stage One construction will consist of lining 6.7 miles of the <br /> <br />Government Highline Canal between Big Salt Wash on the east to Highline <br /> <br />Lake intake on the west. Fourteen existing laterals totaling 34.2 miles <br /> <br />will be replaced by twelve pipe laterals totaling 29.7 miles.
