<br />LAKE HA V ASU <br />(COLORADO RIVER) <br /> <br /> <br />Water Year 1987 <br /> <br />At the beginning of water year 1987, the water level of Lake <br />Havasu, impounded by Parker Dam, was at elevation 448 feet <br />with an active storage of approximately 580,000 acre-feel. <br />During October, November, and Dccember 1986, the <br />reservoir fluctuated between elevation 446 feel and 448 feel. <br />In early April 1987, the reservoir was at elevation 446 reet to <br />provide vacant space for runoff from the drainage area <br />between Davis and Parker Dams, The water level was then <br />raised to an approximate elevation of 450 feet near the end of <br />May, with an active storage of about 620,000 acre-feel. At the <br />end of the water year, Lake Havasu was at an elevation of <br />about 448 feet with an active storage of 570,000 acre-feel. <br /> <br />During the water year 11,360,000 acre-feet were released at <br />Parker Dam, all of whieh passed through the turbines for <br /> <br />ACTUAL RELEASES <br /> <br />WY 1987 <br /> <br />IOOOOF& <br />.. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NDJFMAMJJASO <br /> <br />power production, The total release amount included releases <br />from Alamo Dam on the Bill Williams River.
