These <br />alternatives are described as follows and are shown on Figure 2. . <br /> <br />1. Replacement of the pipeline along Plateau Creek in an alignment that minimizes <br />impacts to all resources. <br /> <br />2. Replacement of the pipeline in the existing alignment. <br /> <br />3. Replacement of the pipeline along the existing highway ROW. <br /> <br />4a. . A Plateau Creek pump station with reverse osmosis (RO) treatment. <br /> <br />4b. An undersized Plateau Creek pipeline replacement with the provision to construct a <br />future booster station to increase capacity when required by demand. <br /> <br />5. A Chalk Mountain pump station and pipeline. <br /> <br />6. A long tunnel alternative. <br /> <br />7. A Colorado River pump station with RO treatment. <br /> <br />8a. A Kannah Creek pipeline alternative that would be sized to deliver 2,300 acre-feet of <br />water per year. <br /> <br />8b. A Kannah Creek pipeline alternative that would be sized to deliver 10,300 acre-feet <br />of water per year. <br /> <br />9a. A Whitewater Creek/Sommerville Ranch high diversion alternative. <br /> <br />9b. A Whitewater Creek low diversionlKannah Creek pipeline alternative. <br /> <br />10. Ajoint venture alternative with the City of Grand Junction. <br /> <br />11. The No Action Alternative. <br /> <br />S-l. An interim supply option of additional development in the Town of Palisade's Rapid <br />Creek watershed. <br /> <br />S-2. An interim supply option to purchase additional treated water supplies from the City <br />of Grand Junction or the Clifton Water District. <br />
