SUMMARY: Department1s contribution to preparation of a State Water Plan

PURPOSE OR OBJECTIVES:

1'1 Identify options for obtaining optimal water allocationsi
2. Identify economic imports of water shortages in identified areas;
3. Address economic aspects of water problems in rural areas;
4. Study economic aspects of uses of surface water and adjacent lands
for recreation and navagation; ~
5.) Comment on economic relevancy of projects addressed by five other
agencies involved in framework planning.
