Antero Reservoir \'Jas purchased in 1921+ and Eleven Mile <br />Canyon Reservoir V~s constructed in 1932. <br /> <br />As the South Platte supply gradually beca~e it'sl~ficient to meet increased <br />demands, trans!I1cuntain diversions \'lere planned from the Colorado River basin. In <br />1936, the Fraser River Diversion System brought ,~ter under the Continental Divide <br />through the 6-mile G~ffat Tunnel. Ralston Resel'Voir (1937) and Gross Reservoir <br />(1955) provide Ee,st Slope storage. <br /> <br />Since the mid-1930's, Hilliams Fork Collection SystEm, which adds ':later to the <br />Fraser system thrcugh Gumlicll: and Vasquez Tunnels, has been [7adually E.\.-tended. <br />Both diversions are p3.rt of the t,loffat Tunnel Collection System. <br /> <br />Canpletion of Dillon Reservoir and the Roberts Turmel in 1963 provided a <br />major nel'l source of transmountain "ater and doubled the D\m' s st.ora,a;e capacity. <br />
