<br />~~'1~ <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN <br /> <br />WATER DISTRICT <br /> <br />PlllJlpillD Plttnts <br /> <br />Pumping was continuous throughout the year except for two <br />:-5hUtd.owIlS, one during the first week of December lasting :-::.even <br />days and one in the middle of February lasting three days, Both <br />shutdowns were for the purpose of cleaning certain ~ections of the <br />aqueduct between Iron Mountain and Ha)'field pumping plants, At <br />the same time, construction work was completed on the 230-kv switch- <br />,.ard at Camino in December and repair work was completed on the <br />\Vest Hoover-Camino 280-kv transmission line in February.
