<br />002~Gl <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />throughout the Basin states, I have included a recent news article, in the handout material, that <br />discusses the issue of coal-bed methane extraction in the state of Wyoming, <br /> <br />The second issued discussed was the President's new Farm Security and Rural Investment Act <br />(FSRIA) (P.L. 107-171), commonly referred to as the Farm BilL As you may remember, when the last <br />farm bill was passed in1996, $200 million per year was appropriated to the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture (USDA) for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQ1P), of which <br />approximately $5.5 million per year was made available to the salinity control program.
