Amity Canal capacity given is 800 sec-ft.by Water Comnlissioner,
District 67.

Table 4 shows that diversions of 500 see-ft. quantities are

comparatively rare by the Amity Canal. During the 12-year period under con-

sideration, quantities in excess of 500 see-ft. were diverted on but 44 days.

This is equivalent to an average of 4 days per year.

Table 5 shows roughly the relation between Purgatoire flows and

Amity benefits.
