The switchyard and transmission lines will be

located to shield them from public view to the greatest extent feasible.

The conveyor from the mine and the plant coal storage pile will be 10-

cated in Deer Creek Canyon, largely hidden from general public view

from Huntington Canyon. The conveyor from the storage pile to the plant

is also located for minimum exposure by locating it at the rear of the

plant.

Attractive landscaping of the plant area will add aesthetic appeal.

The architectural rendering of the plant included in this Statement

gives an idea of how the plant will look in its natural setting. Archi-

tectural features and color schemes will be used so the plant will blend

as nearly as possible with the surrounding landscape.

Archaeology

An archaeological survey of the plant site and transmission line

25
