The Company plans to install particulate removal equip- <br /> <br />ment with a design efficiency of 99.5 percent removal. <br /> <br />(b) Install and operate facilities or equipment to comply with <br /> <br />applicable Federal, State, or local laws, regulations or stand- <br /> <br />ards for the control of oxides of sulfur and nitrogen and the <br /> <br />design of the Huntington Canyon Plant will, to the extent prac- <br /> <br />ticable, provide for the future installation of any equipment <br /> <br />or facilities required to comply with said Federal, State, or <br /> <br />local laws, regulations or standards. <br /> <br />(c) No less often than once every 10 years representatives of the <br /> <br />Company and the Department of the Interior shall meet to review <br /> <br />technology in air pollution control equipment and determine the <br /> <br />feasibility of installing new or additional equipment or modi- <br /> <br />fying existing equipment for. the purpose of improving perform- <br /> <br />ance, taking into account costs and economic feasibility, as <br /> <br />well as benefits of improved air quality. <br /> <br />Utah Requirements for Ambient Air <br /> <br />State of Utah standard for particulates for ambient air and proposed <br /> <br />ambient air standard for S02 are included in the Appendix. Also included <br /> <br />in the Appendix are the national primary and secondary ambient air qual- <br /> <br />ity standards proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> <br />21 <br />
