Stearns-Roger COI'l'oration, Denver, Colorado, is corre- <br /> <br />lating the data from these studies in its design of air quality control <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />The Forest Service is conducting a multiple-use study of the effect <br /> <br />of the Huntington Canyon Plant and transmission line on the Manti-La Sal <br /> <br />National Forest. <br /> <br />A cooperative study involving Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wild- <br /> <br />life, Utah State Division of Fish and Game, Forest Service, and Utah <br /> <br />Power & Light Company is underway to arrive at the best plan for protec- <br /> <br />tion and enh-ancement of fish and wildlife resources consistent with <br /> <br />powerplant operations and maintenance requirements. <br /> <br />BYU is conducting an archaeological survey of the plant site and <br /> <br />transmission line route. <br /> <br />An organization, known as the Colorado Plateau Environmental Ad- <br /> <br />visory Council, was formed in September 1970 for the purpose of collect- <br /> <br />ing and maintaining data concerning all environmental features of the <br /> <br />Colorado Plateau, and to encourage and coordinate research efforts which <br /> <br />should lead to an exhaustive understanding of the past, present, and <br /> <br />future environment of the Plateau area. The Colorado Plateau is de- <br /> <br />fined as the drainage area of the Colorado River upstream of the Mogol- <br /> <br />lan Rim. <br /> <br />9 <br />
