ColoradonBureau of Sport Fisheries <br />and Wildlife report supplement <br /> <br />, <br />) <br />; <br /> <br />This memorandum constitutes a supplemental report by the Bureau of <br />Sport Fisheries and Wi ldlife relative to a proposed State-managed <br />fish hatchery and rearing unit downstream of Narrows Dam, a re- <br />evaluation of the benefits associated with the fishery of the <br />project area, and revision of the cost estimates for wi IdJife <br />development. This report will supplement our earlier report dated <br />August 4, 1966, on the Narrows Unit which remains the basic plan- <br />ning report for fish and wildlife, except for the changes and addi- <br />tions in this supplement. <br /> <br />This report supplement was prepared under the authority of and in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Fish and Wildlife Coordination <br />Act (48 Stat. 401. as amended; 16 U.S.C. 661 et seq.). The Colorado <br />Division of Game, Fish and Parks cooperated in the field studies and <br />preparation of this report. The concurrence of the Colorado Game, <br />Fish and Parks Commission is indicated by the enclosed copy of a <br />letter dated October 6, .1969. signed by Division Director Harry R. <br />Woodward. <br /> <br />Our earlier report appraised the project plan, contained an analysis <br />of project effects on the fish and wildlife reSources, and contained <br />estimates of costs and benefits of measures for fish and wildlife. <br />It also analyzed the costs for fish and wildlife separable enhance- <br />ment features for cost-sharing by the State of Colorado and the <br />Federal Government. <br /> <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />
