This percentage is
based on the source of the salt as being derived from the mass of
sediment and rock that is under transport. Both solutioning and
mechanical breakdown of the salt crystals is taken into account
by this method.

The present rangeland conditions and the future condition models
for the watershed are developed using field observation and
experience to apply state-of-the-art resource evaluation
procedures.

PARTICIPANTS: Resident Team -
James Harte, Hydrologist, BLM, Moab
William Thompson, Range Conservationist, BLM,
Moab

Permanent Team -
George Pyper, Hydrologist, USGS, Salt Lake City
Thomas Roberts, Range Conservationist, BLM,
Salt Lake City
Robert Rasely, Geologist, SCS, Salt Lake City

LOCATION: Sagers Wash Watershed is located in the Upper Colorado
River Basin, West Water Canyon Sub-basin.
