During the summer any portion of the first
300 c.f.s. flowing into the reservoir not needed to meet concurrent
irrigation demands will be credited to the project account and flows
above this amount credited to the Model account. When either account
is f'ull reDlllining storeable flows accrue to the unfilled account.
When :project water is available during the irrigation season all crop
requirements will be met. This means that river flows will be shared
equally by the Model and all other ditches and that remaining require-
ments will be met by reservoir releases; releases to the Model coming
from the Model account and releases to other areas from the project
account. However, when the Model account has beeIl depleted down to 1.200
acre-feet, the Model area fIJEJ;;f draw OIl the project account reserving the
1,200 acre-feet for its exclusive use when the rest of the project area
has returned to irrigation under the :priorities of the :project ditches.

The criteria provide that the conservancy district board determine
the irrigation requirements from time to time during the irrigation
season as conditions vary. They provide that each ditch system be
responsible for the distribution of its allocated water to the water
users.

Water stored in the permanent fishery pool is to be furnished by
the state of Colorado.

The follOWing table gives the water supply requirement for each ditch
and that afforded by the :project under these criteria:

River Diversions--1000 ac.ft.

Ditch System

Optimum Requirement

Available with Project

Bace.
