Cl46G

This value is based on data provided by the Geological Survey (1977,
unpublished report). Probably only about half of this value is really

available for storage because of lithologic characterisitcs and high

water tables.

Water Requirements

Servi ce Area

Lands considered to be served by the ground-water recharge program

were limited to those authorized for service under Public Law 91-389

on August 28, 1970. considerati~:O~he ground-water recharge

alternative was limited to t~~(a~);~~~in the Lower 'South Platte
" -v
Water Conservancy Di stricr(LSPWCQ)~over1Ying the alluvial aquifer.
10" ......,
Lands within the North\;Sterl ing,.trrigation District do not overl ie
, v
the alluvial aqUife~~~nd ~a{er service is not'considered for these
C~,,/ ,,;'
lands as a pa~.~f~~~~~~Charge program.
.) ~ <;)
".
Farm Delivery Requ rements
Water service from the Narrows Reservoir is authorized to the Central

Colorado Water Conservancy District (CCWCD) and the Lower South Platte
Water Conservancy District (lSPWCD).
