(There were seven speakers at the meeting; Mr. Smith was
co~nended for the quality of the program he arranged.) He also reported
on .the meeting of the Augmentation Task Committee, and passed on the
recommendation that reports on activities of this Task Committee should
be distributed to the Western State Water Council and the Colorado River
Basin Salinity Control Forum.

It was also recommended that both PSIAC and the state should submit
comments on water yield aspects to Forest Plans.

Environmental and Recreation Technical Subcommittee: Clarence Maesner
reported that the technical subcommittee is planning a workshop on
recreational and environmental impacts of development in the PSIAC
region. The tentative plan is to schedule this workshop i~nediately
prior to the December PSIAC meeting. The Executive Subcommittee
instructed Mr. Maesner to continue plans for the workshop, but to
investigate in depth the participants to b"e invited and the pros and cOns
of the tentative meeting date.

PSIAC Publications

Subcommittee members were again requested to submit a list of PSIAC
publiCations which their organization possesses, including the number of
copies of each publication. The purpose of this request is two-fold:
(1) to obtain as complete a list as possible of all reports published by
PSIAC, and (2) to determine where extra copies are located.

Barry Saunders agreed to organize this final list and present it to
the new chairman of the Executive Subcommittee at the September meeting.

B-8
