Water and Power Resources Service (Service) per- <br />sonnel' served as ,the main body of. the team, but much invaluable <br />assistance was provided by the various State, and Federal agencies <br />j <br />repres~nted .on the team, Public involvement meetings held during- <br />the cQ~rse. of the study also offered helpful information which was <br />used iithe planning process and during the final evaluations of the <br />alternatives, A brief summary of each alternative follows; <br />Compa~ative data are presented on Table 1 on page 7. <br /> <br />Yuma ~esa Division Entitlement Exchange <br />T~e Yuma Mesa Irrigation and Drainage District, located east of <br />; <br />Yuma, iArizona; would release a mini:lilum of 23,000 acre-feet per year <br />ofthetr water entitlement to the United States for 20' years in <br />, i <br />exch8nJeforcertain considerations.
