The 1974 Act did not <br />V"" i'luthoriEY to the Bureau of Reclamation to implement <br />replacement measures when constructing salinity cont~ol units. <br />This has led to some misunderstandinQ among inte~ested pa~tie6 <br />and agencies as to what could and should be done. S. 2202 <br />clarifies this matter and will provide the basis for ~esolving <br />such issues in the future. <br /> <br />In summarv. Colorado suppo~ts the passage of S. 2202.
