A1thaugh the Unit is a part af the Arapaho, National Farest, the Wi11ia~s Fark partian af the Unit is administered by the Rautt Natiana1 Fqrest and the Blue River partian by the White River Natiana1 Farest. From Augus~ thraugh December, 1976, we canducted a series af faur public warkshaps ~a obtain input to the process by interested graups and individuals. We are extremely pleased with the ideas and interest af thase who, ~articipated in these warkshops. With their input, and aur resaurce inventaries and abjectives, we have been able to, identify a graup af prle1iminary alternatives far management af the Unit. We want to (emphasize that the alternatives presented here are preliminary. In fact, t~e purpase of these public meetings is to abtain yaur ideas as to, haw they, can be imp raved to, better meet yaur concerns far the Unit. There may qe additiana1 alternatives that yau wish to prapase. We ~ ask~ngyaur apinians as to, future management directian far the Unit. We arenat asking far a vate for ar against the alternatives presented riere. The final alternatives will, in all 1ike1ihaad, be samewhat dilfferent than these pre1 iminary anes. The final propased a1ternativ~ may very well be a cambinatian af the best aspects af a number ef other alternatives.
