Colorado asserts appropriator's right to divert entire <br /> flow of river. <br />1902 Kansas v. Colorado, US Supreme Court determines it has jurisdiction over inter-state <br /> 185US, 125 water controversies. <br />1907 Kansas v. Colorado, US Supreme Court announces doctrine of "equitable apportionment" <br /> 206 U,S, 46 of benefits, but fmds that Colorado's use of river had not yet caused <br /> significant detriment to Kansas and declines to apportion river flows. <br />1910 U,S, IrriQatinQ Co, v, Graham Kansas ditch company sues Colorado ditches in U,S, District Court <br /> Ditch Co, et aL, for adjudication of relative priorities irrespective of Stateline.
