Under the process ordered by the Court, the Imperial Irrigation DIstrict has 30 days in which to provide any comments or objections to the Regional Director's Part 417 determination, and may request that the Regional Director reconsider his decision. In any request for reconsideration, Imperial may submit additional materials responding to the data and technical analyses contained in the determination, If Imperial does not seek reconsideration, the Part 417 determination will become final in thirty days from tbe date of issuance, . In the event that Imperial does seek reconsideration by the Regional Director, the Regional Director will review any written submissions from liD and issue a determination regarding any written comments and objections by lID. Following this reconsideration by the Regional Director, Imperial Irrigation District may, if it is still dissatisfied, appeal the Regional Director's Part 417 determination directly to the Secretary, Imperial Irrigation District will have thirty days from the date on which tbe Regional Director issues any decision on a request for reconsideration to file an appeal with the Secretary, Once the Secretary issues a decision on any appeal by Imperial Irrigation District, the decision will be final.
