<br />. , <br /> <br />000514 <br /> <br />Holly Drainage Board <br />Soil Conservation Board <br />Jim Valliant, Rocky Ford Research Center <br /> <br />Dear Sirs, <br /> <br />I wanted to thank all those involved for their efforts (in whatever capacity), for the results in cleaning <br />the lower portion of the Holly Drainage, <br /> <br />I live one and a half miles east of Holly, 750 feet north of the drainage ditch, Over the past 5 years, every <br />time I irrigated the hay around my house, anywhere from 3-18 inches of water came up in my basement. <br />The last time I irrigated, (July 18-20), we got no water in the basement. The dragline had passed my <br />house about 3 weeks before, <br /> <br />I hope this effort continues, It will have a great effect on the economics of our area, I have already seen <br />results in the seepy areas of my hay field, <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />_~f6 <br /> <br />~ <br />
