Comment: There were no calculated impacts on the adverse air <br />quality. This was absent but work by Pedco Environmental under EPA <br />Contract No. 68-02-0044 does provide sufficient data for the neces- <br />sary impact calculations. There was an inference that seepage losses <br />would be reduced and this would change the type ground cover. These' <br />impacts should also be determined, both for short- and long~term air <br />quality impacts. <br /> <br />Reply: The text has been revised to more specifically define the <br />character of the construction operation for the Las Vegas Wash Unit. <br />This revision shows that there is no significant air polution result- <br />ing from either construction or operation of the unit's facilities. <br />See chapter III, section B.l.a.
