Reclamation has reserved
office space in Denver, and is prepared to provide clerical support for such
staff as the Forum may assign to the program.

A tentative as~essment is that during the 6-monthperiod beginning October 1,
1982, while th~ plan of study is being prepared and action responsibilities
are being assi~ned, the Forum would need to assign a full-time person to the
Saline Water Transport and Use Office along with part-time assistance from
personnel with~n each of the States. From April 1983 through the completion
of planning, needed continuity can be assured through approximately half-time
participation from a representative of the Forum.

Individual Forum members need to consult with other affected arms of State
Government to determine an acceptable State representation and action
process. Assignment of State/Forum personnel to the Saline Water Transport
and Use Office should be accomplished before the end of this fiscal year to
assure integration of State concerns and perspectives in the plan of study.

"

'''':'1

2

......,...':-........,'. ....
