Alternatives Evaluation Process <br /> <br />Existing base resources and information about each of the alternatives were evaluated to determine <br />if sufficient information (e.g., baseline information, data and analyses, previous NEP A documents, <br />proponent information, agency baseline data, and other third-party studies) was available to provide <br />adequate analysis of the alternatives. On the basis of this data adequacy review, probable major <br />issues that would have to be resolved during the preparation of the FSEIS were identified, the <br />adequacy of the information to resolve these issues was evaluated, and recommendations for <br />additional data gathering were made. Additional data were gathered as necessary so that a <br />comparable level of analysis could be made for each of the 10 alternatives. Potential mitigation <br />measures also were identified. <br /> <br />5 <br />
